You get what you pay for. We recently switched from cable to antenna and ended up finding the best spot for reception in an upstairs room away from the TV. I used existing RG6 wiring in the walls of the house to send the signal down and it was ok but not very good. I replaced the plugs with them on the go, which greatly affected the signal strength at the receiver.
