No ventilation holes: bread box
I liked the look of the bread box. And I've read tons of reviews - I grew up with one of those stainless steel bread bins. But I mistakenly thought this box had vents - my bread (sliced, store bought but somewhat artisan) didn't fare well. As well as the fresh rolls I put in there. I ended up using it to store snacks - bags of chips, nuts, seeds etc. Disappointing but maybe my fault. The lid is a little weird, but I can work with it. Looks good - matches my decor. If I had to do it again I wouldn't buy it.
