UPDATE April 17, 2014: Well, in the short time I've had it, I've liked it. However, I lost it within 2 hours of my vacation in LA, so I can't say how it would have lasted. Obviously it wasn't chiseled properly and popped up before I knew it so a second later it disappeared into LA! I read so much about this lock that I almost didn't buy it. However, I needed something that could get two zippers close enough to secure with a padlock. So far everything is working as planned, so if it stays that way on my next trip I'll be happy. The only reason I removed the star is because the dial is upside down in relation to the cable loop. It takes a little getting used to, although I have no idea why they designed it that way.
