Fairly easy to install, great lightweight shelves! I have 5 of them and the quality has been pretty consistent between them. Great price for quality. I'd say they can easily hold 5 pounds apiece or more with heavier props. The wooden parts are quite light but can hold many items. The metal body is elegant yet sturdy. Overall, it's perfect for small items and even a few heavier items (like a large candle or glass vase filled with sand). I have photos, memorabilia, and cheesy stuff. One of the annoying things was the plastic drywall anchors included in the kit, which are made of very soft plastic. They just crashed into the hole instead of smashing nicely into the wall. I bought a pack of better quality drywall anchors from a local store and they worked great. No trouble installing frames and installing shelves on the frame. I love how they ended up on my wall! The small amount of time and additional drywall anchors were worth it for the price.
