I am delighted with this product. Fitz just loved the $80 David's Bridal! Nice and fluffy after some fluff. I plan on steaming it and letting it air dry (per manufacturer's instructions) to make it stronger. A previous bad review said this product was too scratchy, but they must have turned it on its head. Mine was shipped inside out and the fabric on the outside is shiny, translucent and quite itchy (see photo). BUT there is an inner layer, more opaque, very smooth and not scratchy at all! In terms of height, I'm 5ft 6in, 150lbs, size 6/8, and I ordered a size Small/Medium. Fits me great. I will say if you are very tall this might be a little short for you. It hits right at my waist where I wanted it, with the hem about 2 inches off the floor. If you're closer to 5'8 or 5'10, you'll need to rest it on your hips.
