Perhaps a large bead or very soft silicone would suffice, but I haven't had good results. Liked the idea

I had high hopes but it just slides down the pipe. If I push hard or try to hold the tube with my hand, the plastic pieces on the clutch lever fall apart. Great idea, but not ready for the market yet. Maybe some parts should be metal. Traction on the outside of the tube definitely needs improvement. Maybe good with a soft seal or a larger bead.
