Easy to use and clean. Perfect size for a mug. The lid fits well, prevents steam loss and allows the tea to steep well. The strainer fits perfectly into the lid after soaking, minimizing mess. The strainer does not impart any metallic aromas to the tea. The mug itself gets hot, but the handle stays completely cold. This mug also keeps my tea warm for quite a while so I can sip and enjoy it instead of rushing before it gets cool. The strainer is quiet and does a good job of ridding my tea of bits and pieces. One of my yerba mixes is a bit dusty and goes through a sieve, but that's minimal. i love this mug I plan to give some away this Christmas.
