I was looking for an inexpensive laptop lock. The combination on this one was fairly easy to install with a small screwdriver, but the lock had an annoying habit of getting stuck in my laptop. I couldn't unlock it and couldn't remove it from my laptop (Acer) when it was finally unlocked. I almost had to try to cut the lock off with metal scissors. I finally freed it, threw it away and bought a Kensington 4 wheel cable lock and I'm much happier with the Kensington. A bit more money for a Kensington, but you get what you pay for.
