The light is bright but mostly in the visible spectrum so don't expect those amazingly bright colors blooming in a dark room. Although the result is not an unpleasant effect. And the end comes sooner than you think. One lamp died after 10 days, the other after 12 weeks. Apparently, the failure of one LED renders the entire array inoperable. At least now I have two good cases for a future project. Summary: Throw them away, ditch LEDs for good blacklight effects, spend your money on UV blacklight fluorescent bulbs for superior performance.
