Can't see red brake light in daylight

Very easy to install, like the bright white LEDs, but I don't like the faint red light. In daylight you can't even see it turning on. You can see it if you're directly behind you at a traffic light, but that's about it. I only found out about this recently while driving home in my truck, so I can't return it now! A little disappointing. I'll most likely get another high mounted brake light and shelf as I can't go back. Pity! ☹️
