I bought this LED bulb to replace the original 18v bulb in my Craftsman task light. It draws some of the current that the original incandescent bulb draws, allowing me to use this work light for many hours before the battery dies. It also runs a lot cooler as the LED bulb draws a lot less current from the battery.
