I was worried at first, but I couldn't be happier.

At first I was concerned about the brightness, but when I got it I really had to turn the brightness down. This is now on my desk and represents a room that is darker than most rooms so it could be due to some lightness. I've never had anything above a 1080 monitor, so 1440 was very noticeable to me. I play World of Warcraft and it looks amazing in 1440. I have an old Alienware laptop with an Nvidia GTX 860m and as far as I can tell it can only output a 100Hz signal through DisplayPort so I can't comment on that. 144Hz aspect of this display. I definitely recommend this display, I am very happy with it.
