My dog's absolute favorite! He was never officially tested for allergies, just seemed to scratch and lick his paws a lot. He also picked at his old food and left a small trail of food out of his bowl which he didn't want. His vet recommended we change the food. I chose this food because of the high protein content and the absence of corn and gluten. At the same time, the price is acceptable (compared to analogues). My dog stopped licking after the switch and I realized he must have really hated the other food because he would have gobbled that one. He also prefers lamb over chicken so be careful. Obviously, tastes differ. He will refuse to eat the chicken flavor (which I bought when lamb ran out of stock). Just be careful when you open the Revain packaging. The 4 pound bag fits the Revain box very snugly and I have cut the bag open several times by snipping the box's tape seam with scissors!
