Review on NEVO RHINO Backpack Expandable Climbing by Nicole Soto

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Holds tons, easy to carry, good quality and great price

We're getting ready for a family trip so I bought some backpacks. This is the only clear winner in terms of size, quality, price etc. All parts appear to be high quality and comparable in quality to the Osprey (expensive backpack) purchased for my wife. The black bag is similar to the typical Swissgear backpacks used by a wide range of business travelers (myself included) but is larger and has more features such as a waist belt/support, sternum/chest strap, compression straps, expandable bottom, hook and cord to attach things etc. It's not as good as SwissGear for adding laptops and cables so I actually took a small laptop case as an extra that could fit in the NEVO Rhino case if needed. For three 4 day trips I had too much room in this bag and that was fine as you can zip the bottom expansion section and use compression stays to make it look smaller. people with their roller bags. I think even a fairly full backrest would be fine for carry-on since it's compressible and padded (no internal frame), but unlikely to fit comfortably under the seat. I put it in the upper compartment, even on regional jets. I liked this bag so much that I also bought the back of the NeveRhino 40L with inner frame. It was VERY nice and very comparable to the 30 liter Osprey we bought. The problem with this 40 liter bag was that it was MUCH smaller than the 45/55 liter backpack in question. It was even smaller than the 30 liter Osprey. We sent it back but it confirmed the overall high quality of the NEVO Rhino brand. If it really was 40 liters compared to this 45 liter bag (no opening) then that would be great. It's hard to know how these capacities are rated, but the bag in question has at least double the 40L capacity (25L?).
