I got this for Christmas and everything was fine right away. When the battery died, I tried to charge it but couldn't charge it, despite using multiple cables, power adapters, and even a direct connection to the computer. I sent it back and got another one and I'm having the same issues. I can't find a way to charge the battery, so I'm sending it back. Edit: I only sent two of these back because I couldn't charge the battery on either of them. After I left a one star review, the company sent me another lamp for free and asked me to update my review. The problem is that this third lamp is not charging either. It works for about 12 hours out of the box before the battery dies. When I plug it in I can never get that red glow that should indicate it's charging. I've tried many USB cables and power adapters, including the cable that came with the lamp, and none of them help charge the battery. Second edit: After using three of these lamps for three months, I finally figured out how to charge them. Another reviewer posted a video here showing that due to the internal workings of the bulb, they had to bend the charging cable at an angle in order to charge it. As soon as I saw this, I experimented with bending the cord. I found that once plugged into the lamp, I could push the cord up and down until the lamp started glowing red, indicating it was charging. I had to press up and down (when the USB is plugged in at a 90 degree angle to the front of the lamp, I pressed up and down to make the wide part of the USB go up and down, tilting it towards the lamp). angles less than 90 degrees) until I heard a crackle or click inside, but it worked.
