Review on 💦 Maybelline New York Waterproof Express Makeup by Jamie Bolen

About me: I like mascaras that don't flake, add volume, separate and define lashes, hold curl all day and are very, very black. My lashes are medium thick, very straight, almost never curl. I usually prefer a dry mascara formula so I don't weigh my lashes down. About this mascara: It doesn't flake, provides moderate volume, separates and defines lashes well, holds curls moderately well, and is fairly black (but not the blackest). I don't feel like it adds a ton of length to my lashes but it's not a value to me. I reapply this mascara in the middle of the day to maintain the volume and color of my original application. I find that curling my lashes after applying the first coat helps my curls last all day. I find this product comes off well with coconut oil or an oil based makeup remover. It's perfect for a casual day makeup, but maybe not the best for an evening/glamor look. For added drama, I recommend a coat of Maybelline's The Falsies (waterproof formula).TL; Pros of DRPro: Doesn't crumble, doesn't stick together, separates and accentuates lashes, holds a curve fairly well, is fairly black. Cons: Not incredibly black and not stackable enough to add a glamor look to your look.
