== Introduction == There seem to be many people who wear truly wireless headphones. Are these devices convenient? How well can they reproduce sound for such a small electronic device? Out of curiosity, but not wanting to break the bank too much, I looked to Revain for a device with good reviews, a reasonable price, and not as white as everyone else. A pair of Meidong black headphones seemed like a good choice based on my needs. I pulled the trigger and in less than 24 hours they were at my doorstep. == Pairing == Pairing the KY06 with my iPhone X was easy. Removing the earbuds from the case automatically turned them on and put them into pairing mode. I pressed KY06 on my phone and in less than 5 seconds the pairing was complete. ==Comfort== I gently inserted the headphones into my ears. Both are snug and comfortable. I walked around the house, jumped several times and the buds stayed in place. So far, so good. The lack of a cable connecting both earbuds contributed greatly to the massive reduction in weight, which kept the earbuds from moving around. == Sound test == With comfort already established, I played my usual test tracks. The bass singer's sound was surprisingly smooth and satisfying. The mids of the flute and acoustic guitar were excellent. The top end of the other acoustic guitar was good, although I felt the sound quality could be improved in that area. Passed the bass drum test with flying colours. I really liked the "Boom" from another test track. Overall, I was surprised at how good the sound quality is for the price. == Bluetooth range test == Armed with a tape measure, I turned on the music on my phone, left it on the roof of my truck, and walked away until the audio dropped. I repeated the process three times and measured a distance of just under 75 feet where the audio stayed flat with nothing between the devices. My Bluetooth range test exceeded the advertised range of 66 feet. == Test call == Although my son and I could hear each other clearly during the test call, he mentioned that my voice pitch was slightly higher. It wasn't a problem for me. The sound quality is excellent for such a small device. The headphones are comfortable to wear and the price is very reasonable. Coming to this review I was very skeptical about truly wireless headphones. I can now see how eliminating cords helps keep the headphones in place, which means more time for me gardening and less time keeping the headphones in place. And I have a black pair unlike everyone else.
