It's not a terrible frame, but it's okay. Arrived safe and sound in appropriate packaging. I have bought other frames from other manufacturers who have been much more generous with product protection. I chose the white matte A4 version. The white finish on the wooden frame is very nice, bright white, the finish is even with no streaks or stains. The rug is a beautiful off-white sloping towards blue. The color contrast between frame and mat is striking and pleasing. When matting a photo I would also leave a white border on the photo to give the matte extra contrast. It really sets him apart. The "glass" is actually polycarbonate/plexiglass with a protective film that needs to be removed before use. I'd like to see real glass, but I'm picking on it. My biggest complaint comes from the hardware. The hinges used to hold the back panel in place were pretty loose for me. Some flexing and squeezing was necessary to achieve a secure fit. Also including hanging hardware. unfavorable. It uses a plastic "seamless nail" and a metal clip. It's a bit unusual and I'm sure it works well, but I decided not to use it at all and installed a sawtooth hanger. Overall this is a good frame, but I've bought much nicer frames for a little more money.
