Review on 👓 Ultimate Eye Protection: Glasses Protective Goggles for Soldering and Welding by Aaron Bannister

I like these because they are the only 7 pairs of sunglasses I could find and they are real sunglasses, not big bulky lenses. What was disappointing is how cheaply they are made. With the first order one of the side flaps was completely missing and with the second replacement order one of the side flaps was broken. Since it is made in Germany, I expected a much better quality. The little pins holding the side flaps are a joke and I'll probably just have to glue the entire flap in place, which kind of defeats the appeal of them being goggles and not goggles. I ended up going for a pair of Shade 8 glasses from Phillips Safety Products and paid twice as much but I think I'll be a lot happier with them. It's a shame a lot of companies don't sell shade 7 goggles as to me (I have light blue eyes) shade 5 just isn't for plasma cutting. With all that said, if you need tint 7 glasses they will help you. I just wish there were more options available. Update: I just noticed that the plastic bag says 'Made in China'. For this reason I downgraded my rating to 1 star. Advertising a product made in Germany and then showing a product made in China is false advertising.
