When my wife and I got our foot scrapers I figured a pumice stone would help with our dry winter heels too. After using; I'm just not sure if it's worth it. I used this stone in the shower after warm water softened my skin. The moment I started rubbing my heels in a circular motion as directed, the stone split in half. I know that natural pumice stone wears out over time, but if it breaks the first time you use it, I think it's just a poor quality product. Other pumice stones I've used in the past have lasted several years. One good thing about this stone is that the shape can get into small places like the crook of your toes. I also like that there are two packs so I can have one and my wife can have hers. The little attached cord comes in handy as I can hang it on a hook to dry instead of leaving it in a puddle on the edge of the tub or shower. does not affect every type of callus. The box suggests using the stone three times a week. I guess I just don't want to spend that much time on foot care. For almost $10 for a two stone set I expected a lot more from these stones. I can get better quality for less at Walmart or my local pharmacy. I stick with my heel scraper which does a lot better each time.
