The best beard trimmer I've ever owned

The name says it all. I have had a thick beard for over 35 years and have changed many beard trimmers in that time. That was until I bought my first Philips Norelco over 12 years ago. These items are designed to last a very long time. My last trimmer was a 7000 suction and I've had it for over 7 years but due to the fact that the battery isn't holding a charge and the blades are a bit dull I decided to replace it. The latest 7000 series with vacuum cleaner, I seem to have a few problems based on the reviews and since I didn't like this suction function anyway, I decided on this 3500 series, the vacuum cleaner is not worth it by the way. Although it catches about 80% of the hair, you still have to lay down a towel to catch the rest, so what's the point? And the vacuum makes it a lot heavier, bulkier and quite noisy. With this trimmer I noticed a big difference. Light weight, MUCH quieter and smaller making it much easier to maneuver and use. I have a thick beard that reaches down to my neck and I couldn't believe how much faster I cut my hair. I really love this shop. You can read the specs yourself, but there are many increments in cut length. I keep my beard moderately short and find the setting 7.5 fine for me. 10 will be the shortest. The comb/hair guide is lighter than my previous one but I see no reason why it won't last as long as the trimmer itself. Not flimsy and really impossible to break unless you step on it or something. It slides into the slot on the trimmer very easily and doesn't need to be forced. He just fits. Nothing more to say. I've used it 5 times and from the first time there was no "addiction". It's always a great finish!
