It was a real challenge to remove the brown backing from the adhesive film after removing the white backing and placing the film on the furniture. It is impossible to get it, it will not crack or peel. When I removed the pad, the sticky film had come loose several times and was no longer sticking to the chair. I threw away this package. So I tried removing the backing first - it was still an ordeal as there really isn't a way to crack and peel it off. But I took it off, taped it to the chair, and when I took off the white sheet, the sticky sheet was wrinkled, warped, and lost its adhesion. I left it there, but I will never buy them again unless you assure me you found an easy way to remove the rollback.
