I received mine on April 1st. It's May 20th and the smell is still the same. All I did was unfold it and put it in the suitcase, then threw it in the little storage compartment by the door. I didn't open the vents but the smell still goes on. I think people complaining about them fading after just a few weeks open the vents all the way and some put them in direct sunlight. I live in South Florida. Now it's the 80s and 90s every day. This air freshener still works. I doubt the heat will make them go away faster. As I open the door and step inside, I'm hit with a blast of heat and CS-X3. It smells like bubble gum or some kind of candy mixed with ozium and seems to last forever. In combination with leather seats and a HEPA cabin filter, it smells good in there.
