I ordered these pants in a large size. I'm 5ft 2in and 150lbs. I wear size 10 pants so I ordered a large size that fits a size 12-14 because I wanted leggings underneath but they don't fit me. The waist is very narrow as you can see in the picture. Winter pants do not close comfortably, but perfectly. Aside from the tight buttons at the top, the rest of the pants fit well. They are nice and loose around my legs and hips so I can bend in them. I don't have time to return them before the trip so I just wear them as is. The zipper closes high enough that I'm pretty sure they won't fall off if I leave them open. I will update my review on the quality of the pants after the trip.
