This strip was a lifesaver! I live in a fairly old apartment complex (think all single pane windows, brick color from the 70's) and another fun feature of this apartment was the lack of electrical outlets in the kitchen. A plug behind the stove, which supplies both the stove and the refrigerator, seemed to be enough for these people. That will not work in this era. We bought it and installed it vertically by my window overlooking my living room (another fun '70s style!) and ran an extension cord to the nearest outlet. It was great there. Most strips of this style had a short power strip and cord. I needed a short extension but a long cord. It delivered and it was amazing. The clips hold it very securely and I don't even remember what I did without it!
