I bought these masks to go to a small meeting with children. I wanted light and protective masks. The mask portion was comfortable for my kids, ages 5-11, but the ear loops were the worst. We barely touched them and they fell off the mask! If I hadn't tried them before leaving the house it would have been a disaster. We made holes in the area where the ear loops were already connected and tied an internal knot. But you can also take an ear hook and put a cloth mask over it. It worked for us and it wasn't too hot or difficult to breathe. I put one of these masks in my shawl and it was comfortable to wear for 4-5 hours while we were at this meeting. Finally, I just think the ear straps need better placement. These are children's masks, and children are constantly tugging on their belts.
