Review on Renewed Razer Kraken Tournament Edition with THX Spatial Audio and Full Audio Control, Cooling Gel-Infused Ear Cushions in Black by Oren Perry

I bought this headset to replace my old Man'o War which broke due to the flimsy construction. It's easy to see why this model was discontinued. When I opened the package, I was initially satisfied. The design seemed much more solid. The sound quality was excellent. I have no complaints about headphones. BUT. I need headphones for work. which requires a microphone. I settled on this model after doing a little research and found that it had the best noise-cancelling rating for a fairly modest price. The mic has a HARD drop and you have to put it in your mouth to be heard. With the volume set to 100 in both the Razer Controller app and Windows itself, normal speech is barely audible. When I spoke in a LOUD voice, people would still ask me to "speak up" or move closer to the phone (the mic practically touched my lips just to say it clearly). Would I buy again? no
