Although the delivery time was very long (the supplier was from the UK) this item was worth the wait. The delivery took several weeks, and in the meantime I have bought another similar product. Big mistake. It didn't fit well on my USB 3.0 port and didn't really fit the purpose I was trying to achieve - to protect my ports. I am using this item to connect a Das keyboard to a laptop and as the keyboard is plugged in and unplugged a lot I don't want to risk unplugging the connector. So I always leave this adapter plugged into my laptop's USB port by connecting the keyboard's USB cable to it rather than directly to the laptop's port. I've never had connection problems. I fully recommend this item and if you have to wait for delivery please be patient. It's worth it. I wanted to add that I have been using this adapter since September. (I try to wait at least a few months to work and test the product before posting a review.)
