Review on Warm and Cozy: Eocom 6 Pairs Children's Winter Thick Wool Socks for Boys and Girls by Chris Kajzer

I was very excited when I came across these socks. I was looking for something made out of wool, a design with just enough ribbing around the ankle to stay on active feet (similar to Hanna Andersson socks that "stay tight" which only come up to size 7) and that would fit a 3 -year-old child would fit . I'm disappointed! And here's why: 1) I've had the size 3-5 years for almost 3 years. Her feet are size 7 and on the smaller end of the foot for children her size. However, these socks are TOO SMALL, larger sizes are not available. I would characterize this size as a 5 (depending on shoe size), not 3-5 years. Also (and as mentioned in another review) the socks I received in the batch are not all the same size - some are about 1/4 inch longer. 2) Only 3 of the 6 colors I received are shown in the photos, which show all possible (9 or 11) colors, making a "random" selection of 6. All the colors I had were pastels except for a dark blue. I was hoping for stronger/darker colors. At $14 I feel like I should get exactly what I want. 3) The socks are very thick but smooth at the same time. My child slipped twice in the first minute of wearing it and fell on our wooden floor. I like the elastic around the ankle which holds them up well and I have to assume given the thickness they will be warm enough for winter. Also, they will most likely add a size, so a larger shoe size may be required. Finally, the use of metal clips with sharp ends to secure the sock at the non-tag end is not well thought out. One of them fell on our carpet and it took me a while to find it and I was afraid my little one would hurt himself on it. Plus more waste.
