The Acer QHD webcam works out of the box when it needs to be connected to a company laptop that doesn't allow the driver to be installed. If you have access to a PC (and can install the drivers), you get even more bang for your buck. We're using it in a fairly dark media room and the low-light sensitivity is pretty good. The chamber uses a shaping rubberized valve that appears to be metal on the inside. You can bend it into almost any shape to get a good grip on your monitor. It also has (looks like) a camera thread for a tripod. Didn't try to mount it, but it's nice to have that option. All in all, this is a solid webcam for most use cases. It is an above average and well known brand. The noise cancellation seems pretty good and people on the other side of the call can hear me. It picks up an average amount of ambient noise since it's omnidirectional. It's about as good as a webcam until you step up to much higher end options that are a lot more expensive.
