My wife's 2012 Jeep Liberty had a broken light socket. I've tried cleaning the contacts and bending them more, but a hit or two still seemed to cause the bulb(s) to lose contact, resulting in the brake light not lighting up. I swapped the boards on the left and right lights and the problem seemed to follow the board leading me to believe it was indeed the problem. I replaced the broken board with this one and it's been working great ever since. It is easy to assemble and fits perfectly.
