Wife is not tech savvy. It took forever to get them to install the original app. And if Arlo needed a new app, no chance. Using the instructions, they are very easy to attach to my base station. But no matter what I did, I couldn't just pair them with audio doorbells. I called Arlo, they couldn't get them to connect. Then Arlo's support team said a terrible word. I have to stop buying her things in winter. Don't they know it's cold outside? My system required me to delete the bells and doorbells and start over by installing a doorbell and then the chime. At this point I was able to connect the ringer to this doorbell. I then installed another doorbell and a chime and was able to pair both chimes with this doorbell. And for those who follow, to add a second call to the first doorbell, you will have to go to the settings. Yes, I had to repeat the camera and doorbell event/action. I'm just saying that if the pairing doesn't work, just be prepared to do the above. It was very easy/intuitive to set different ringtones for the front and side doors.
