Review on Adjustable Petite Dress Form Stand - Dritz Twin-Fit Tri-Pod, Silver Gray by Leah Jackson

It's okay, not great

I bought this dress form because I run a clothing commissioning business and couldn't find any alternatives for a plus sized dress form. The form itself is fine, I've had no complaints from customers about the fit of their garments, but adjusting the dials is a NIGHTMARE. It's ridiculously difficult to turn them, I have to pinch the center piece with one hand and push on the crossbar with the other to actually get them to turn. They hurt my fingers because I have to put so much strength into turning them. If I had fibro or similar nerve issues I just wouldn't be able to use it at all. I own multiple Dritz dress forms and this one is the only one with this issue, which is disappointing because it's double the price of any other sizes. Unfortunately due to the total lack of plus size dress forms available, there's really no other option but to use it, so I can't really recommend that you don't buy it because there's nothing else available.

Pros
  • The stand's height can be adjusted to accommodate different working heights
Cons
  • Not adjustable enough
