Packaging: When the "small" box arrived on the day of waiting, I thought half the order had been forgotten. Then I opened the box and lo and behold, it was packed VERY well. No dents, no cracks, no missing paint in one piece, everything perfect! Assembly: I started assembly with 3 guards - a 4 year old, a 2 year old and a 10 month old. Everyone insisted that /her/ chair be assembled first. It probably took me 15 minutes for the first chair, 5 minutes for each chair, then 10 minutes for the table. Only 45 minutes. It was SO EASY. And I LOVE that everything is made so that if it gets lost I can just tighten it back up and it's like new. Use: They stole the chairs from me as fast as I could finish them. Run to show everyone else in the room. Thankfully, this set arrived just in time for our traditional Thanksgiving dinner with the in-laws. We have 4 children aged 2 to 4 with their cups, plates, cutlery etc. various "friends" who were asked to be present (mostly transformers, but there was also a record player). Goes with EVERYTHING. And the children were happy to be able to sit at their own made-to-measure table. Luckily, there were no arguments about the colors as they seemed to go perfectly with everyone's favourites. Cleaning: There was jelly. There was a candied yam. There was turkey, gravy, stuffing and mashed potatoes. throw it on the table crushed. Drawn with a finger. I let it dry because the "adults" weren't paying attention. When I returned from my butler the table had been abandoned in favor of greener pastures (cakes!) and was looking rather sad. i was scared But I grabbed a napkin and went to work. DELETED IMMEDIATELY. Without scrubbing. No crazy punches and knees on the table. Just swipe and go. FANTASTIC! I LOVE this table. It now serves as an everyday dining table and desk in our kitchen.
