Review on πŸ”Œ 6-Outlet Surge Protector Power Strip with 8-Foot Extension Cord - Black, ETL Listed/UL Standard by Lamont Manjrekar

Revainrating 5 out of 5

He does what he has to do; extended power 25 feet, with surge protection.

I'm a volunteer curator at a small museum in southern Indiana. We recently had a fire inspection and found that continuous or prolonged use of extension cords is not allowed. However, the permanent use of plug-in assemblies with overvoltage protection devices is permissible. We had a lighted glass display case that had not one but 2 extension cords to power its location. The fire inspector told me that the extension cords needed to be removed. Then he showed me this surge protector on his phone. He noted that it was relatively inexpensive and met the needs of the fire department. I ordered it, installed it and the inspector came back to make sure the problem was fixed. Now everyone is happy.
