This is the perfect solution for large trucks without rear air conditioning. Our little fella is facing backwards and it's geared towards directing the air conditioning towards him and keeping his back cool. The outlet adapter part doesn't fit perfectly, but it does get a lot of air out. We're also smaller in size, our newer (smaller SUV) car just ridiculously has AC outlets closer to the ground so that doesn't help at all, but again this can be rigged to get things done. This is definitely a summer escape. And in winter I think too!
