USAGE REPORT After a year of use I usually do an electronics check and this one. I mainly use this keyboard for gaming [hardcore gaming]. I do not have noisy mechanical aberration. Instead, I use this fancy, quiet, inexpensive little comfort keyboard. I emphasize the word "comfort" because the mat has worked very well after a year of use. I rarely use the media control keys, but for those who get it, the WASD keys don't go away at all. I need easy access to the large F1-F12 keys and this keyboard provides it. Besides, the wired connection makes it more accurate, faster and more responsive. Mine is holding up great. and the keys are still readable after continuous key press. I play about 5 hours every day, more on the weekends, and this is a must have keyboard. Aside from gaming, when I need to type, the keyboard keys have a strong feel and make a nice clicking sound, but not uncommon like a mechanical keyboard because it's NOT a mechanical keyboard, so I bought it. CARE / MAINTENANCE As every gamer knows, there's an inevitable habit of eating at the computer and I'm no exception. I sometimes eat chips or other low-fat foods while playing games or otherwise using the computer. Aside from being squeamish about oily fingertips, I take care of my keyboard and clean it at least once a week as part of my weekly "Battlestation" maintenance routine. and abused many times and still holds up well. Well built product for everyday computer use and even gaming. I recommend it.
