Review on Timecity IPad 9Th/ 8Th/ 7Th Generation Case (IPad 10 by John Clarey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good, but not nearly ideal.

Luckily the case comes with two front covers - one with an integrated protective film, the other without. The good first: 1) The case back is well made and well thought out. The wrist strap works well, as does the swivel function. The built-in kickstand works well too, although you only have one setting so viewing angles are limited when you're not moving. 2) Pretty easy to assemble. 3) The front cover without a protective film allows you to attach the tempered glass cover and keep the overall protection. Fit and function were perfect. Cons: The front cover with the built-in screen protector was completely unusable. Instead of being smooth, it had a slight wave in it. As a result, numerous air pockets formed under the tread that could not be removed. It took a lot of effort and effort to get the touchscreen to recognize finger movements and touches. After a few hours it became clear that it was just never going to work and I ordered a tempered glass screen protector for the other front cover. Otherwise I would have given it a higher rating. If you don't mind buying a second product to get the coverage you want, that's no problem. For me, this was an annoyance and additional expense that could have been avoided with a better built profile. What I can't confirm: Drop protection. I'm usually pretty cautious with devices and haven't dropped this one yet.

Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
