Alienware 17 R5: Chargers and Adapters
This charger fits the Alienware 17 R5 in a pinch, but every time you plug it into a laptop you get a BIOS message stating that 180W is less than the factory 240 W is. the charger that came with the notebook, and it takes longer to charge, and the power consumption is adjusted for lower performance. I am planning to trade the charger in for a higher capacity one so I can have it as a spare.
