Picked this up for use with my color computer system. We use Colibri software and often use color to design printed materials and match colors. This is an impressive monitor in almost every way. That's too much for a typical desk job - you're paying too much for a high-end monitor that you don't need. For typical use, I'd recommend one of Dell's 34-inch monitors like the U3417W, which offer a larger size, curved screen, and great software for a lot less. Advantages: - Easy to calibrate. We had no issues with calibration or color gamut.- Nice, bright display. Extremely impressive. Cons: - It's really very heavy. You'll definitely need a quality monitor arm or use the built-in stand. - It's expensive. You pay more for a certain type of monitor and we found it to be worth it.
