These remotes work well and connect easily, but they eat batteries like candy. I thought I was imagining it, so I opened up a new pack of batteries to try it out. I replaced the batteries in both and the original two Wii remotes. Then I invited the kids to play Mario Kart together. I usually limit their screen time, but I told them it was an experiment. After an hour of Mario Kart, one of those remotes was dead, one was at 25%, one was original at 75%, and one was full. We have rechargeable batteries, but they last even less than regular batteries in these remote controls.
