I've been using heart rate monitors for training for 15 years - Garmin and Polar, Polar is my favourite. During COVID I received a Wahoo exercise bike and cadence tracker. So I bought this Wahoo heart rate monitor to track my heart rate and cadence in one app. I've had the monitor for about 3 months now and the accuracy and reliability of the product has absolutely declined. It connects normally and for the first month of use it seemed to work fine. But now after using it for a few months it often shows my heart rate is at 120 before I do anything. What's even more frustrating is when a HIIT workout claims my heart is significantly lower than it actually is - 109-122. It doesn't cost any money. Invest in Polar or Garmin. I will also return to Polar and the cadence tracker through them.
