I love these things! I use mine in the closet because it's a bottleneck and I hang decorations for easy access! I hang earrings and necklaces on hooks and use the top shelf for large bracelets or ring boxes that don't fit in my jewelry box. So quick and easy to get ready for work in the morning! Plus it keeps everything nice and tidy. I used to just leave everything on the bathroom counter until I got home and wanted to clean it up! I don't have to go to the closet, everything is easily accessible for used stuff! I ordered one, came back for another and have now ordered another one! Love it! They are perfect for that! I think they're great for keys or anything light! Although I don't think I would hang anything very heavy on it!
