The screen is crisp, bright 1080p HD IPS. The lid and stand combo works great with the front edge folded back on itself to prevent the screen from sliding forward. It even has VESA mounting holes for stand mounting. The quality of the speaker is normal, it suits me. I enjoy listening to them when I forget to charge my headphones. Note. Make sure your computer's USB-C port supports external monitor power and video over a single USB-C cable, or you may have to use two cables like I did. A cable (USB C to C) or (USB C to A) for power and an HDMI cable for video.
