Yes, it's very durable, so using it for lotions or soaps helps a little. I used it to make soy candles and it worked great. Soy wax is difficult to smell, so its strength was perfect for this use. Because it is so strong it smells extremely fragrant and pungent in the bottle but needs to be diluted with wax/soap/lotion to get a really mild scent. To me it smells like almond extract. maybe with a touch of vanilla.
