Review on πŸŽ’ Brevite Jumper 18L Compact Camera Backpack: A Minimalist & Travel-friendly Backpack for Photography, Laptop, and DSLR Accessories (Black) by John Talcott

Great bag but straps can be an issue

The camera compartment is easy to adjust with two different sized Velcro straps that can be configured for any configuration. I don't like the double zippers in the compartments as it's easy to forget to zip both. Unfortunately, the straps are problematic for smaller people because they are made of very stiff foam on the inside and are too wide and can painfully cut into armpits or shoulders. Manufacturers should consider making the foam portion of the strap much shorter and using a black nylon strap for the rest. (I solved this problem by tucking the ends of the foam straps up 1 to 2 inches and then carefully tying them to the handle of the bag; the bag looks a bit odd now, but the wide foam straps don't dig into it my hands more.) Designed as a holdall so unfortunately the fabric is not very water repellent but should work well as a holdall in most conditions. Thumbs up for cleverly designed spacious pockets too.

Pros
  • Rugged design
Cons
  • Fits

The marketing is misleading, but it can be a good bag if your needs are simple.
