Although I'm a heavy PC user, I rarely use Display Port. However, I recently found myself in a strange situation where I needed to connect an AMD 5700xt with an eGPU to a TV. True to its word, this adapter outputs a 4K signal at 60Hz. I was able to play Overwatch on Ultra settings (and even audio) at 60fps on my TV. It was perfect and there was no fuss. Just plug it in, hook up a good HDMI and you've got a picture. The design feels premium with a rounded metal body and full-length gold-plated inlet (and outlet). no problems with it yet. As stated on the product page, note that it is not bi-directional. It connects to the graphics output and sends a signal to the display. There's no other way (I can't think of a scenario where this could be a problem). For β¬9.99 (price at the time of testing) I can recommend such a niche solution without hesitation. Need to connect your gaming rig to your TV? Need more than one HDMI output? This could be exactly what you are looking for.
