I liked this idea and it worked well enough to store asparagus, but there are three main problems with it. First, the flimsy basket inside is so light that anything lighter than asparagus, like basil, won't hold the basket straight so it won't work properly. Second, the power plug is easy to be accidentally unplugged if you accidentally hit it against something else in the refrigerator door and spill water. But the biggest problem is the hard plastic it's made of because it breaks easily. For me it was a month and a half and all three problems occurred during that time. The tear was irreparable and I had to throw it away. So I regret spending money on it. You might like this if you only want it for the asparagus and you're always a careful person. But if you're clumsy like me, don't waste your money.
