This is a very good basic mini dock and the price is spot on. I've seen answers that say the Switch even fits in this dock with a case, which I don't think is a complete lie because yes, it even fits with a case to the point where you can adjust the blue light see the docking stations . , but the monitor doesn't show anything at all no matter how much I move it in the case, but with the case off I can feel it penetrating a little more and this is reflected on the monitor as well. (Update) I upgraded this from 4 to 5 stars because I just found out that it works on the monitor even with a case. You just need to put some pressure on it when the case is on, and if that doesn't work, turn it off and on again, turn on the switch several times, then it will appear on the monitor. I wish it matched the case a little better as it fits perfectly with the case in the original dock. I would give 4 ½ stars if I could. (Update 2) I just found a much easier way to get it on the switch perfectly, even in a case so it always shows up on the monitor. I just opened it up with a thin flathead screwdriver and took out those two springs that bring it forward and now it always works 100% perfect, even on the monitor, even with the switch case that came with it.
