Review on 🌈 Hengda's 55 Inch Rainbow Parafoil Design by Arturo Reyes

Not for children, but teenagers and older will probably do just fine. It takes practice, but it's worth the effort.

This was my first kite and it's not bad at all. I have no experience with them so I came up with this method to get them airborne. First, forget about the strings that come with the kit. Then place the kite on the ground and unwind the cords. Have a weight to hold the kite while you unwind it. When they are all unwound, start with the kite and work your way backwards, making sure the lines are not twisted. You want to get two parallel lines that never intersect. When done, separate them about 3 feet apart. Make sure the kite is pointing up or towards you. Now go back to the kite and pick it up by the ropes right where they are attached to the kite anchor points. (Refer to the instructions that came with your kite.) Now just holding the strings about 1 foot from the anchor point, raise the leading edge by spreading your arms about 3 feet apart and raise the kite until the wind blows it detected. of slightly more consistency by each hand. The kite is launched by pulling two cords. If you allow one to come out and the other not, it will be like pulling that cord and the kite will fly in that direction. So let the wind carry the kite and keep the strings as straight as possible. At around 15 feet the kite should fly fairly easily. Anywhere from 15 to 25 feet you can start learning how to fly it, but be careful as strong winds can snap the strings in your hand. But here you can make small adjustments to your power to see how the kite flies. The next part is the hardest. You want to right the kite as fast as possible but the wind pulls the ropes through your hands/fingers and it burns. The goal is to get to the handles as quickly as possible while keeping the kite in the air. It'll take a few, okay, a few tries. When you get the hang of it, you've got pens in your hands and it's a very cool feeling. Now you can learn how to fly a kite. Watch out for erratic winds. The wind will want to throw the kite. Learn to react quickly and smoothly, but don't overdo it. From there it's just fun. :-)
